01:28 am - VIVITROL
Hello, I hope everyone is well. I'm looking to see if anyone has any PERSONAL experience with the Vivitrol shot, and if so, what the experience was like? Did it help? What side effects did you or your close family member/friend experience? Any information at ALL (other than what I just found after hours going from link to link on google--- in other words, I know the basics, I'm just looking for personal experiences here)

Thank You!

04:44 pm - Rehab
Well I am going into rehab sometime within the next two weeks.  The only thing I am concerned about is they put you on suboxone for the first 30 days and right now I am off of everything and not withdrawing so I am confused as to why they would wanna give me suboxone.

05:49 pm - stomach problems?
Well I have been on the suboxone for around 6 months now and am doing fine.  I take 3 a day.  I was just wondering does anyone else have stomach problems like really bad constipation while taking the suboxone?

11:57 pm - The SJW Trick
So I made a mistake last time I posted. I have no clue what Ginkgo Biloba does when mixed with Suboxone, but that doesn't matter because I really meant St. John's Wort. I tried mixing the two. First I take 600 mg of St. John's Wort pills, then I dissolve my ritual 4mg of Suboxone under the tongue in 15 minutes. Within 40 minutes I feel a mild to awesome high consistently every time after doing this. Just thought I would share. I feel much more relaxed, with  a hydrocodone like euphoria and much more energy than my normal suboxone dose. The euphoria is the most noticeable thing.

Has anyone ever done this and had similar results? I love it. I don't think it is entirely placebo effect either so it might be worth a try

02:24 pm - Suboxone and Ginkgo Biloba
Somewhere on LiveJournal I heard that taking a certain amount of Ginkgo Biloba while on Suboxone can give you an opiate-like high. Has anyone else heard of this or tried it? If so how much Ginkgo Biloba and Suboxone did you have to take to create the effect? I am on Suboxone right now and love it. It is my miracle drug, but I wouldn't mind feeling high again once in a while if it is that easy.

06:48 pm - Just started....
I just started the suboxone treatment today.  My doctor prescribed me 2 8mg pills per day.  I have only been taking one because that seems to do me fine.  My suboxone treatment is very expensive around 500 a month with no insurance is anyone elses treatment this expensive?

I was addicted to methadone.  I wasn't in a clinic or anything I was getting it off the street and from my doctor for moderate pain.  But with the suboxone it just makes me feel normal.  I do feel like I can quit all narcotics now.

Any comments or advice?

I've been on suboxone for 6 months now and my doctor said he wanted to start lowering my dosage so I can quit. I'm really nervous and completely unsure I'm ready to stop. He keeps pushing me on it.

I almost feel like I'm addicted to THESE now.
Anyone else the same?

10:15 pm - quick update.
So, seven weeks later I'm out of rehab. As predicted, I have been put on suboxone. Now I have a shit ton of out patient to do and N.A. meetings to go to. It's worth it in my eyes.

I've noticed that I get a headache and an upset stomach from my suboxone. I even threw up yesterday from it. Does this go away as I get used to my medication? When I was taking them illegally, I never had this problem but now I do. Any one else notice this?
